The packaging company has operations in the states of Arkansas and Wisconsin.<\/p>\n<p>The move by Georgia-Pacific is anticipated to enhance its product offerings in the food service, retail and processor channels.<\/p>\n<p>Based in the city of Atlanta, Georgia-Pacific operates the consumer brands Angel Soft, Brawny, Dixie, enMotion, Quilted Northern, Sparkle and Vanity Fair.<\/p>\n<p>Georgia-Pacific Consumer Products Group executive vice-president David Duncan stated: \u201cAnchor Packaging will be a significant addition to\u00a0Georgia-Pacific\u2019s consumer products platform with capabilities that will especially complement our\u00a0Dixie\u00a0business.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnchor\u2019s talented teams are committed to understanding customer needs and delivering innovative and differentiated solutions to support the needs of the growing food-to-go market.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Anchor Packaging president and\u00a0CEO Jeff Wolff stated: \u201cThis partnership allows us to expand our product portfolio, strengthen our supply chain and accelerate our commitment to innovation. \u00a0We look forward to delivering even greater value to our customers and stakeholders.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>RBC Capital Markets and Goldman Sachs advised Anchor Packaging, while Nomura Securities International guided Georgia-Pacific in this transaction.<\/p>\n<p>Dixie president Fernando Gonz\u00e1lez stated: \u201cThis is a major step in building a platform for growth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAdding Anchor Packaging to\u00a0Georgia-Pacific\u2019s portfolio aligns perfectly with our vision to be a preferred partner in providing innovative food and beverage packaging and tableware solutions to our customers.
