Fashion is cyclical, and many trends from the early 2000s have recently made their way back to the spotlight. Low-rise jeans and itty-bitty crop tops are once again popular, signaling a return to the aesthetics that defined the era. Alongside these trends, a more concerning revival has emerged from the 00s era, the glamorized image of smoking. Images of Kate Moss and Jennifer Aniston with cigarettes daintily dangling out of their mouths come to mind.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But they\u2019ve also become a prop for cultural cache. At Charli XCX\u2019s wedding\u2014who, incidentally, has been dubbed a cig-fluencer<\/em>\u2014trays of slim cigarette packs were passed around. At the time, The Guardian<\/em> wrote<\/a>, \u201cAt Charli xcx\u2019s nuptials were served Vogue Essence Bleue slim cigarettes from silver trays, and social media is peppered with wedding receptions featuring tiered dessert stands laden with smoking paraphernalia and dedicated \u2018smoking stations\u2019.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
