Despite my consternations, pumpkin spice season is a\u00a0thing<\/em>. It\u2019s one of those contrived, Hallmark-like seasons that come along every August, and along with it, a myriad of products get that PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte) treatment, whether it makes sense or not.<\/p>\n

To some extent, I get it. Pumpkin tastes good and is complemented with warm spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and cloves. That combination also pairs well with a surprising number of things, like coffee. A pumpkin spice candle makes sense, too. But we may have gone off the edge when PSL SZN also brings\u00a0pumpkin spice instant ramen<\/a>\u00a0and pumpkin-spice-scented\u00a0trash can liners<\/a>\u00a0to the party.<\/p>\n

And pumpkin spice butt wipes? Well, maybe that actually works, at least when executed by a brand like\u00a0Dude Wipes<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n
