CMC Packaging Automation, a provider of automated packaging systems, has collaborated with Tokyo-based Correns, a distributor of industrial machinery and technology solutions.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The agreement will see the two companies expand local sales and service capabilities.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It will promote sustainable packaging practices and increase the adoption of automated packaging technology across Japan\u2019s retail and e-commerce sectors.\u00a0<\/p>\n

CMC first introduced its CartonWrap system to the Japanese market in 2015.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Since then, it has supplied multiple right-sized packaging solutions to major retailers and third-party logistics operators.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

This experience has positioned it as a reliable supplier of process-optimised and sustainable packaging systems in Japan.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Correns operates several offices across Japan and employs more than 170 people, including service engineers and technicians.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Its local expertise and national service network will support the partnership\u2019s objectives.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The companies plan to present their solutions at the Japan Pack business exhibition, taking place at the Tokyo Big Sight convention centre from 7 to 10 October 2025. <\/p>\n

Headquartered in Italy and backed by KKR, CMC Packaging Automation operates in Europe and North America, providing automated packaging systems for e-commerce, retail and logistics clients.\u00a0<\/p>\n
