Polish contract packer FILLSY has opened a manufacturing facility in \u017byrard\u00f3w, Poland, in collaboration with Meadow.<\/p>\n

The plant will produce Swedish packaging technology company Meadow\u2019s aluminium pre-fill solution, the MEADOW KAPSUL.<\/p>\n

FILLSY will fund the project, committing to invest \u20ac4m ($4.6m) by the end of 2027.<\/p>\n

It also looks to invest another \u20ac10m to build production lines and expand the plant by the end of 2030.<\/p>\n

The facility is expected to produce up to 10 million units annually from 2025, with a target capacity of 100 million units per year by the end of 2027.<\/p>\n

FILLSY will be the first European manufacturer to industrialise the MEADOW KAPSUL technology at scale.<\/p>\n

The plant will be fitted with latest industrial machinery intended to serve clients in the European market and will include a showroom for MEADOW KAPSUL to allow partners and prospective customers to see the technology and its applications across food, personal care and home-product categories.<\/p>\n

The announcement follows the European Union\u2019s February 2025 adoption of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, which sets binding targets for recyclability and material reduction.<\/p>\n

The new plant is projected to increase regional capacity to cope up with rising demand for packaging solutions that are compliant with regulation and designed to address packaging waste.<\/p>\n

Meadow CEO and co-founder Victor Ljungberg stated: \u201cWe are thrilled to announce this partnership with FILLSY. It marks a major production foothold for Meadow in Europe, and comes at a time of growing market demand for our solutions.\u201d<\/p>\n

FILLSY co-founder Pawe\u0142 Siwirski stated: \u201cBy establishing this factory at the heart of Europe, in a country that is a growing hub for FMCG [fast-moving consumer goods] innovation, we are ensuring that the MEADOW KAPSUL system is readily available to brands across the continent.<\/p>\n
