recycling activities into a single platform.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>ReCover Paper, formerly known as Environmental Services, handles more than 10,000t of waste annually and plays an important role in advancing Coveris\u2019 No Waste strategy, aimed at reducing waste across its operations.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The unit manages recycling processes from the company\u2019s UK label and cartonboard production sites and coordinates partnerships throughout the recycling supply chain.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Through ReCover Paper, it remains the only UK label manufacturer offering a paper-to-paper recycling service for self-adhesive label release liner via its RafCycle partnership with UPM Adhesive Materials.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Since launching this service in 2024, the company has recycled more than 400t of paper release liner in collaboration with its customers.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The ReCover Paper facility also employs patented delamination technology used to separate label facestock from release liners for recycling.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It also processes 500,000 label cores each year for re-use, as well as linerless label stock, cardboard and transit films.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Coveris\u2019 paper business unit head of sustainability Adam Robinson stated:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIntegrating ReCover Paper reflects our aim to create a unified, visible recycling platform across our business.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cReCover Paper is vital to improving our own sustainability performance, while also delivering an industry-leading recycling service for our customers.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough our No Waste model and collaboration with the supply chain through partnerships like RafCycle and our membership with CELAB [a coalition of companies aiming to create circularity for self-adhesive labels], we are reducing environmental impact and advancing circularity across the sector.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cReflecting our commitment to sustainability, 64% of Coveris\u2019 sites are covered by Platinum EcoVadis scores ranking amongst the top 1% globally.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In early October 2025, Coveris, in collaboration with SABIC, Zuyderland Medical Centre and Artivion, developed a process to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.packaging-gateway.com\/news\/coveris-sabic-recycling-medical-packaging\/?utm_source=&amp;utm_medium=16-123352&amp;utm_campaign=\" target=\"_blank\">convert medical waste into new packaging materials<\/a>.\u202f\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The initiative focused on recycling used medical plastic packaging into new contact-sensitive packaging, creating a closed-loop model within the healthcare sector.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The collaboration formed part of SABIC\u2019s TRUCIRCLE initiative and was the first closed-loop healthcare packaging project of its
