NYSE to delist Ardagh Metal Packaging warrants over low price

The US New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has begun the process of delisting Ardagh Metal Packaging’s warrants.

The NYSE cites “abnormally low selling price” levels for delisting of the securities, which trade under the symbol AMBP.WS.

Trading in the warrants was halted on 25 November 2025.

The NYSE’s action is based on Section 802.01D of its Listed Company Manual, which covers delisting for issues including price criteria.

Ardagh Metal Packaging will not contest the decision, allowing the exchange to proceed with an application to the Securities and Exchange Commission to complete the delisting process once the necessary procedures have been fulfilled.

Despite the delisting move, the warrants remain valid and can still be exercised.

Each warrant entitles the holder to purchase one ordinary share at an exercise price of $11.50 up to 4 August 2026 or an earlier redemption date, in line with the warrant agreement dated 10 August 2020.

The NYSE’s action is limited to the warrants.

Its ordinary shares are unaffected and will continue to trade on the exchange under the ticker AMBP.

In late November 2025, parent company Ardagh Group posted higher revenue for the third quarter (Q3) of 2025, though its net loss deepened over large exceptional charges.

The company generated revenues of $2.5bn for the quarter ended 30 September 2025, up from $2.39bn in the same period of 2024.

This was supported by growth in metal packaging operations in Europe and the Americas, and a small uplift in glass packaging in Europe and Africa.
