Top 25 Converters: Looking Ahead to 2026

Top 25 Converters: Looking Ahead to 2026

In November, Packaging Strategies published its Top 25 Flexible Packaging Converters list.

While we stand by the list, the flexible packaging landscape is constantly evolving, and it’s not too early to start thinking about what the 2026 list might look like.

Prior to going to press with our Top 25 story—but too late in the game to make any alterations to our list—we received some suggestions for companies that should be included in the Top 25.

One of those companies is Transcendia, the film manufacturer and converter headquartered in Franklin Park, Illinois. Although we haven’t reported extensively on Transcendia, it’s worth noting that the company serves over 2,300 customers and operates 13 manufacturing facilities and three distribution centers globally. Definitely a contender for next year’s Top 25 list!

Another contender is Charter Next Generation (CNG), a company that repeatedly made Packaging Strategies headlines in 2025. Particularly noteworthy are CNG’s collaborations with NOVA Chemicals and Shell Polymers.

It also was suggested that Constantia Flexibles be included in our Top 25 list. While most of the company’s facilities are located in Europe, North American locations include Blythewood (South Carolina), Bolingbrook (Illinois), and San Luis Potosí (Mexico).

As I said, it’s never too early to start looking ahead to what next year’s Top 25 list might look like. A big factor in our ranking is prior-year sales, and we focus on firms with operations in North America. However, we’re open to any and all suggestions as far as determining which flexible packaging converters deserve to be in the Top 25.
