The move brings together two producers focused on self-adhesive labels and will boost overall production capacity, technical capability and service flexibility across the enlarged group.

The Label Makers managing director Zenna Parfaniuk stated: “First Choice Labels is a natural complement to our business. Their dedication to quality, customer service and long-standing client relationships mirrors our own approach, making this an excellent cultural and strategic fit.

“Together, we can offer an even broader range of self-adhesive solutions while maintaining the premium standards our customers expect. We are delighted to welcome the First Choice team into the wider organisation.”

First Choice Labels will retain its existing name and branding and continue to operate from its current site in Redcar.

All employees have been retained.

Colin Harbinson, who has been with First Choice Labels for more than 19 years, has been promoted to operations director as part of the transition.

He stated: “I am immensely proud to take on this new role as our two businesses come together.

“First Choice Labels has always been committed to delivering excellent products and service and it’s clear that The Label Makers shares those same values. Joining forces allows us to strengthen what we already do well, and I look forward to working closely with both teams to drive continued quality and innovation.”

The Label Makers commented that the addition of First Choice Labels broadens its self-adhesive portfolio and is aimed at delivering greater production flexibility.
