Thirst Reimagines Eggnog As a Coffee-Spiked, Luxe Libation

In 1826, cadets at West Point decided to disobey rules concerning alcohol and threw a raucous Christmas party where about 70 party-goers had a little too much homemade eggnog. The revelries turned into a riot, with two officers being assaulted and the destruction of the Northern Barracks.

The “Eggnog Riot” of West Point is also the inspiration behind design agency Thirst’s latest concept project, “Riot.” Instead of alcohol, Thirst’s Riot is eggnog spiked with coffee, fueling holiday festivities with caffeine.
