The actuator is contoured to sit comfortably under the hand and delivers a controlled dose.

The pump can dispense up to 2cc per stroke and helps reduce leftover product in the container.

The Wave pump is intended for use with a wide spectrum of product viscosities, from light lotions through to heavier creams.

The pump is produced entirely from polyolefin, making it recyclable in regions where appropriate collection and processing systems are available.

It can also incorporate up to 30% CleanStream recycled polypropylene.

The Wave pump achieves RecyClass B compatibility when combined with polyethylene terephthalate bottles and RecyClass C when paired with high-density polyethylene bottles.

The launch supports customers’ sustainability agendas and aligns with its broader commitment to circular economy principles by providing dispense solutions that are designed for recycling.

Lara Alemany, product line director, beauty and wellness at Amcor, stated: “We designed the Grace head to prove that recycle-readiness and beauty can go hand in hand. Consumers want packaging that looks and feels premium, and we’ve achieved that without compromising on circularity aspects.”

“This pump is a great example of how our technical expertise allows us to create innovative solutions that combine aesthetics with circular economy principles.”

In November 2025, Amcor developed a 25ml skincare stick applicator for Decathlon that incorporates recycled plastic.

The recycled plastic utilised in the applicator was sourced from the packaging group’s proprietary CleanStream technology, and aligns with the sports retailer’s efforts to cut its carbon emissions.
