Solcz joined PPG in 2018 as global segments director for wheel coatings and was promoted in 2020 to Americas general manager for auto parts.

She currently leads the PMC business in the US and Canada and will continue to report to Amy Ericson, senior vice-president of PMC.

Macouzet joined PPG in 1984 as a paint formulator in Mexico and has held senior leadership roles across Mexico, Argentina and Latin America.

She was appointed vice-president and PMC general manager for Latin America in 2016, leading PPG’s Latin America operations excluding PPG Comex and holding direct accountability for the PMC business in the region.

PPG chairman and CEO Tim Knavish stated: “On behalf of the PPG leadership team, we congratulate Adriana on an outstanding 40-year career with PPG and thank her for her many contributions.”

Javier Sosa Mejía, vice-president of architectural coatings for Latin America and president of PPG Comex will expand his remit to become president of PPG Latin America from 1 January 2026.

He will continue to report to Henrik Bergström, senior vice-president for global architectural coatings.

Sosa joined PPG in November 2014 following the acquisition of Comex and has held multiple senior roles, including business-to-business marketing director and commercial director.

He currently oversees architectural coatings operations in Mexico, Central America and Brazil.

Knavish added: “We also want to congratulate both Jennifer and Javier on their expanded roles and responsibilities. Their continued strong leadership will be key as we maintain our focus on growing our business and serving our customers throughout Latin America and within the PMC business across the Americas.”

In November 2025, PPG launched Sigma EcoCollect, in partnership with waste logistics provider FIRE-OFF and packaging manufacturer Dijkstra Plastics.

Sigma EcoCollect is a nationwide packaging recycling initiative in the Netherlands by PPG’s Sigma Coatings brand.
