Packserv enters US distribution deal with FP Developments

Australian manufacturer Packserv has collaborated with FP Developments to distribute its packaging machinery across the US.

The partnership will see Packserv’s equipment made available directly to American customers, expanding the company’s reach beyond its domestic market.

Packserv’s product line, assembled in Australia, includes machinery for liquid filling, capping, conveyor systems, and container handling.

These solutions are intended for use by producers in sectors such as fast-moving consumer goods, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.

Through the agreement, US businesses will have access to local support and services related to Packserv’s equipment.

According to both companies, the collaboration is underpinned by aligned principles in engineering and manufacturing standards.

The aim is to provide equipment that allows manufacturers to adjust their packaging operations as their requirements change.

FP Developments CEO Jeff Denson said: “Packserv’s equipment aligns well with the type of systems our customers are looking for; proven, flexible, and ready to be integrated into real production environments.

“This allows us to bring those technologies to the US market while continuing to provide the engineering support and long-term service our customers expect from FP.”

Packserv stated that this development is part of a broader strategy to extend the presence of Australian-made industrial machinery internationally.

The two companies are scheduled to present their joint offering at Pack Expo East, scheduled to be held in Philadelphia in February 2026.

Packserv managing director Nathan Wardell said: “As an industry-leading packaging machinery designer and manufacturer, Packserv recognises that FP Developments is a strong strategic fit for us and the perfect company to align with as we expand into the US.

“Their machine quality, depth of industry experience, and proven reliability align closely with our own standards.”

Last October, Packserv released a new four-head 5l pneumatic filling machine.

The machine is designed for food and pharmaceutical production environments requiring HACCP or TGA compliance, as well as industrial settings needing IECEx or ATEX certification.
