adapa Group Focuses on Customers and Efficiency with Refinancing Complete

Since the end of 2024, adapa has been executing a comprehensive transformation program and is now firmly focused on being the European partner of choice for flexible packaging solutions. The Group is delivering superior customer value through innovation, operational excellence and enhanced efficiency.

The transformation program is built on three key pillars:

  1. Creating a “one adapa” manufacturing network with centers of excellence to increase productivity and better serve customer needs
  2. Driving the portfolio towards 100% Designed for Recycling solutions
  3. Building an energized “one adapa” culture focused on excellence and customer centricity.

To further accelerate this transformation, adapa completed a refinancing transaction at the beginning of 2026. The refinancing, which extends existing debt maturities beyond 2031, significantly improves adapa’s equity, leverage and liquidity position, reflecting the continued strong support of the Group’s existing lenders and providing long-term financial stability for the operational transformation.

“We have the financial stability to execute our strategy,” Noël Kasmi, CEO of adapa, commented. “This year, we are accelerating productivity improvements, expanding our innovative portfolio and continuing to invest in our people. Despite ongoing market headwinds, we are confident in our future and well positioned to drive sustainable growth.”

Over the past months, adapa has successfully completed several key projects, demonstrating its ambition for future growth and its strong commitment to customers. As part of its strategic investment program, the Group has installed two new shrink extrusion lines and two state-of-the-art printing machines, extending its capabilities with highest printing speeds and the full camera inspection.

Another significant milestone is the successful commercialization of MonoClose(re) P-type, a reclosable, PP-based top web. When combined with adapa’s C-base PP bottom web, it forms a Designed for Recycling packaging solution, supporting customers in achieving their sustainability goals. In addition, adapa has strengthened its European leadership team with the appointment of Stefano Manfredi as Chief Sales Officer, further reinforcing the Group’s customer-centric commercial approach.

With these strategic milestones achieved and further initiatives underway, adapa is confidently shaping the future with a clear focus on customer proximity, sustainability and operational efficiency.
