Established in 1979, it operates two sites near Toronto, Ontario.

Originally founded by George Seretis and Chris Grigoriadis, the company’s current management includes Nick Seretis, Andy Seretis, Geena Grigoriadis, and Nick Vayenas.

Easy Plastics president Nick Seretis said: “Being a part of FirmaPak provides additional resources, capabilities, and flexibility to support our growth, while preserving the responsiveness and relationships our customers value.”

Seretis will continue to head Easy Plastics, which will now operate as Easy Plastics, a FirmaPak Company.

With this move, FirmaPak adds Canadian manufacturing to its US operations, which already include facilities in Kansas, Missouri, Pennsylvania, and California.

The deal is also expected to broaden FirmaPak’s offerings in personal care and pharmaceutical packaging.

FirmaPak’s portfolio also includes Container Services and Apex Plastics, both of which now operate under the FirmaPak brand.

PMCF Investment Banking was the financial advisor to Easy Plastics for the transaction.

FirmaPak CEO Rob Goldberg said: “FirmaPak continues to grow both organically and through strategic acquisitions.

“Adding Easy Plastics to the FirmaPak family enhances our ability to serve customers through additional locations and expanded packaging offerings. Easy Plastics has also earned a strong reputation for high-quality packaging and outstanding customer service. We are thrilled that Easy Plastics chose to partner with us.”

In June 2025, FirmaPak acquired Lighthouse Packaging in California.

Lighthouse Packaging was founded in 2015 by Ernie Hernandez and supplies both stock and bespoke packaging products.
