Kim Kardashian and Day Job Introduce Update and its Soft Take on Energy Drinks

  • Kim Kardashian launches Update energy drink with packaging by Day Job
  • Minimal pastel cans and vertical sans serif typography redefine energy drink design
  • A Skims-inspired aesthetic enters the competitive CPG beverage space

Kendall has tequila, Kourtney has supplements, and Khloé has popcorn, making another Kardashian product launch feel almost inevitable.

With the new energy drink Update, Kim Kardashian teams up with Day Job to create a packaging system that almost feels like an evolution of the Skims universe, and definitely a departure from her energy drink with Alani Nu. The tall, slender cans are wrapped in muted pastels and soft metallic tones that feel more like luxury skincare than convenience-store coolers.
