The facility began operating in November 2025 and will focus on serving produce sector clients in Sonora, Sinaloa, Durango, and Chihuahua.

The company has appointed Daniel Peña as Produce Mexico’s sales manager.

He brings more than 13 years of experience in agribusiness, including management roles at Aliansa and Agrofesa.

Peña said: “I am extremely thankful for the opportunity. I am glad to have chosen StePacPPC to continue my career, and I look forward to growing and consolidating business across Mexico and beyond.”

The office is established to provide sales, customer service, technical support, logistics coordination, and local billing and collections for regional growers and packers.

Local inventory includes items such as bulk bags, clear BOPP roll stock, stock retail bags, and PAZ zipper pouches.

This new location allows for same-day shipments within Sonora and one-day delivery to Sinaloa.

According to the company, these arrangements are intended to reduce shipping times and costs while also avoiding additional cross-border tariffs.

PPC FLEX sales produce vice-president Joe Bradford said: “Speed to market is key for us in LATAM, and this is a step in the right direction. StePacPPC is committed to long-term investment in LATAM through local teams, local inventory, and local service, designed to help customers operate more efficiently and competitively.”

Last year, StePacPPC launched its Xtend Pallet Shrouds, which the company said are operating at full-pallet level and can be used when traditional bulk carton liners are unsuitable.
