Oaten Offers a Fresh Take on Breakfast Branding

Oaten Offers a Fresh Take on Breakfast Branding

Take one little stroll down the oatmeal aisle at the supermarket, and you’ll notice the inspiration is… lacking.

With Oaten, though, the packaging, designed by Sorted Branding, takes everyday porridge oats and turns it into something unexpectedly charming, using clarity and storytelling to make a pantry staple feel a bit refreshed.

The oversized Oaten wordmark is set in a chunky sans serif typeface that remains approachable, while the color palette leans into soft sky blue paired with warm cream tones. A charming illustration introduces a small character climbing a ladder and pouring milk into the bowl, rendered in a clean retro-inspired line style. It’s simple and clean but also full of character.
