PackEdge diversifies into commercial printing with Keno Graphics

US custom packaging maker PackEdge has expanded in its home market with the purchase of commercial printing business Keno Graphics.

The acquisition will see PackEdge broaden its services to include commercial printing, aiming to provide a set of solutions for its clients in New England and the Northeast.

PackEdge’s current operations consist of producing custom folding cartons, speciality die-cutting, and paper-to-board lamination.

With the addition of Connecticut-based Keno Graphics, PackEdge will also gain access to offset and digital printing, bindery services, mailing, and large-format production.

The combination of the businesses is said to simplify operations for brands depending on multiple vendors.

Keno Graphics vice-president Bill Kennedy commented: “Joining the PackEdge family is the right next chapter for Keno Graphics.

“We’ve always prided ourselves on exceptional print quality, personalised service, and on-time delivery. Now, backed by PackEdge’s expertise in custom packaging, we can offer our clients even greater value while continuing to deliver the same level of service they expect.”

Keno Graphics will continue to operate out of its Shelton facility with its existing team.

There are no announced changes to customer service, and clients will gain access to additional packaging and die-cutting services as a result of the acquisition.

PackEdge president Adam Aron said: “Keno Graphics has long been more than a vendor to us—they are a trusted partner whose commitment to quality and customer service mirrors our own.

“Bringing them into the PackEdge family allows us to offer clients a truly end-to-end solution, from custom package design and die-cutting through commercial printing, mailing, and bindery services.”
