TOPPAN Packaging Marks One Year, Expands Integrated Packaging Platform

TOPPAN Packaging today marks one year since the TOPPAN Group acquired Sonoco’s Flexibles and Thermoformed Packaging businesses.

“Over the past year, the company has strengthened its ability to help customers solve increasingly complex packaging challenges, supported by specialized teams across a family of brands and the global reach of the TOPPAN Group,” TOPPAN Packaging said in a statement.

As part of the global TOPPAN Group, TOPPAN Packaging brings together a global converting footprint and vertically integrated film manufacturing, creating a distinct advantage in flexible packaging.

“By managing both film production and packaging conversion, the company can better align materials, performance, and application requirements, delivering more customized, high-performing solutions. This integrated approach supports customers across food, pet food, home and personal care, and consumer health care markets from early-stage product development through large-scale production,” the company said.

“Packaging decisions are getting harder,” said Ron Milz, President & CEO of TOPPAN Packaging. “Brands are balancing shelf life, line performance, consumer experience, and sustainability expectations all at once. Our focus at TOPPAN Packaging is simple: help customers get to the right packaging solution faster. That starts by taking a more consultative approach to better understand each customer’s unique needs and objectives.”
