Last resort Alert: Cut Dr. Wunderer’s Wine Label Into Pieces

  • Wunderer by Alessandri Design hand-cuts every label with a scalpel and reassembles it in deliberate disorder, making each bottle a one-of-a-kind object.
  • In a category split between maximalism and minimalism, this Austrian wine label turns material manipulation into the design.

I don’t care who denies it, but we all judge books—and bottles of wine—by their cover.

Dr. Wunderer’s bottle, courtesy of Alessandri Design, just made that instinct completely justified by producing one of the most interesting wine labels through a technique that is as simple as it is distinct.
