- NA beer brand Roadie hits shelves with a classic American beer look and feel
- Design studio Land decides NA beer can and should still look like beer, developing a logotype reminiscent of 60s car culture and sign painting, and a roadrunner mascot
NA beer should still look cool. The folks over at the new 0.0% alcohol beer brand Roadie think so, at least, and have brewed up a classic Americana look that’s just begging to be held in close proximity to an old truck.
“No matter its contents, I want to hold a can that looks good,” says Ryan Rhodes of Land, the Studio behind the packaging. “We wanted to create a can design that tapped into nostalgia. I feel like a lot of non-alc beers shy away from leaning into the vernacular of American beer history.” So Land did the opposite with Roadie, playing up the traditional look of a domestic beer brand while making stylistic allusions to sign painting and midcentury car culture.
