Siegwerk renews and expands partnership with GTT


Siegwerk, a global printing inks and coatings manufacturer, has renewed and expanded its partnership with secure cloud networking solutions provider GTT Communications

GTT, a partner of Siegwerk since 2018, provides global managed SD-WAN, optimised with security and professional services that caters 65 offices and production sites. 

This strategic collaboration is set to enhance Siegwerk’s application and network performance, ensuring seamless connectivity for its manufacturing and supply chain operations. 

The company leverages GTT’s network sourcing, visibility, management, orchestration, and security, facilitating business agility and cost-effectiveness throughout its operations. 

The partnership enables Siegwerk to manage and prioritise its network effectively, resulting in a 40% increase in bandwidth and supporting its digital strategy.  

Siegwerk CIO Mohamed El Ashmawy said: “At Siegwerk, we’re expanding the applications for inks and coatings, from enabling breakthrough product designs to innovations that support a circular packaging economy.

The recent expansion includes DDoS mitigation and enhanced professional services, offering a comprehensive defence against cyber threats and ensuring uninterrupted production.

In July 2024, Siegwerk introduced its first full UV flexo deinking system for the European market.
