Premier Tech launches new product line to expedite packaging automation

Premier Tech, a packaging machinery manufacturing company, has unveiled its latest innovation to expedite packaging automation, the TOMA product line.

The TOMA brand debuts with an advanced palletising solution that boasts an advanced interface in the industry.

It combines industrial-grade robustness with user-friendly collaborative robotics, offering a seamless integration process that eliminates the need for coding, engineering, or programming.

This development opens doors for both small and large manufacturers to harness the advantages of automation.

Premier Tech president and CEO Jean Bélanger said: “Today, we are launching more than a product line. We are launching a totally new approach to automation – we are launching the ‘Automation made friendustrial’ mindset.

“Our teams at Premier Tech Systems and Automation have successfully merged industrial-level efficiency with ease of operation. This was achieved by leveraging the cobot technology from Fanuc, the worldwide leader in robotics.”

With more than three decades of expertise in automation and palletisation, Premier Tech has integrated the latest robotic technologies into TOMA.

This initiative underscores the company’s dedication to making advanced technologies accessible to a broad spectrum of manufacturers.

The business model accompanying TOMA leverages an online, user-friendly do-it-yourself configuration platform.

This approach allows companies to reimagine their packaging operations and embark on automation projects that were previously financially challenging.

Premier Tech launching partner Groupe TAQ operating manager Pascal Gagné said: “TOMA cobots allowed us to enhance the work ergonomics of our teams, meet their needs – especially for night shifts -, and increase our productivity. This new solution is robust, intuitive and easy to program. With its agility and reliability, we can use it in various workspaces according to our needs.”
