PepsiCo Refreshes Mountain Dew and Says Goodbye to ‘MTN’

PepsiCo’s Mountain Dew brand has announced a refresh to its visual identity. The updated look celebrates the soft drink’s roots and refocuses its “Do the Dew” spirit towards the great outdoors.

“Many people, including our brand loyalists, associate Mountain Dew with having a good time outside, and it’s important to make sure our look and feel resonates with our fans and that we continue to drive this message home,” says JP Bittencourt, VP of Marketing, Mountain Dew. “We wanted to lean into that spirit of adventure and encourage people to live their lives to the fullest, which, for many, involves enjoying the great outdoors with their friends and family. We infused this love of the outdoors into our new brand positioning, including introducing the Mountain Dude and the latest ‘Do the Dew’ campaign efforts currently in the market.”
