TriMas Packaging opens advanced facility in Haining

TriMas Packaging, a division of TriMas, has inaugurated a new automated manufacturing facility spanning 225,000ft² in Haining, China.

This development merges two former manufacturing sites in Hangzhou and Haining into a singular, technologically advanced facility.

The initiative aims to enhance service for TriMas customers throughout China and the broader Asian markets.

The Haining facility is outfitted with advanced injection moulding and assembly capabilities, as well as the integration of autonomous robots such as automated guided vehicles (AGVs).

The site also features robotic auto palletising and a specialised warehouse management system.

These technological advancements are designed to optimise material handling, cut labour costs, mitigate safety hazards, and align with the company’s commitment to sustainability through energy-efficient operations and waste minimisation.
