Yeo’s unveils limited-edition fortune cat packaging

Yeo’s, a Singaporean beverage brand, has embraced the festive spirit of the 2025 Lunar New Year with the launch of three new limited-edition packaging designs featuring the ‘auspicious fortune’ cat.

The festive packs are available for purchase at retail outlets, including NTUC FairPrice, and will be on sale while supplies last.

Complementing the launch, Yeo’s has also unveiled two 3D fortune cat installations, made from recycled Yeo’s plastic bottles.

In a move to refresh its brand image, Yeo’s had previously undertaken a packaging redesign in August last year.

The First Harvest Green Tea was presented without labels, sporting a neon green shade and low-resolution text.

Moreover, the brand continued its tradition of festive packaging by releasing three limited-edition designs last Lunar New Year.

These designs adorned Yeo’s chrysanthemum tea, winter melon, and lychee drinks with images of a dragon, phoenix, and lion, coupled with traditional good fortune greetings, reflecting the cultural significance of the holiday.

Yeo’s Singapore marketing and business development head Alex Chen said: “We are delighted to celebrate this Lunar New Year with the Yeo’s fortune cat, a symbol of good fortune and prosperity.

“This record-breaking installation at FairPrice Hougang reflects our ongoing commitment to blending tradition with sustainability by creatively repurposing recycled Yeo’s plastic bottles.”

In July last year, consulting company Wood was selected by Japanese plastic manufacturer Kuraray for a $40m engineering design contract to establish a new sustainable packaging production facility in Singapore.

The plant was set to produce Kuraray’s EVAL, an ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer, a recyclable material used in food packaging to extend shelf life by preventing oxygen spoilage.
