Brook + Whittle acquires Stouse to enhance sustainable packaging offerings

Brook + Whittle, a provider of sustainable packaging solutions, has acquired Stouse, a manufacturer and supplier of decals, labels, and promotional printed items.

Stouse will become part of the Sprink Division of Brook + Whittle, alongside Discount Labels, another label manufacturer.

Post-acquisition, Stouse and Discount Labels will maintain their individual operations.

The integration of Stouse’s production facility into the Sprink Division’s manufacturing network is anticipated to improve manufacturing speed, capacity, and reliability.

The strategic move aims to ensure that customers continue to receive this improved service.

Brook + Whittle is optimistic about leveraging the acquisition of Stouse to further its growth and success.

The company remains committed to its mission of providing sustainable packaging solutions to its customers.

Based in Guilford, Connecticut, Brook + Whittle operates 15 sites throughout the US. The company produces pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, flexible packaging, and heat transfer labels.

Brook + Whittle Sprink Division executive vice-president Bill Wood said: “This acquisition represents a significant milestone in Brook + Whittle’s growth strategy, further enhancing our capabilities and product offerings.

“By uniting Stouse with Sprink and Discount Labels, we can provide our customers with an unmatched range of products and solutions, delivered fast and with high quality.”

In February last year, Brook + Whittle acquired American flexible packaging manufacturer PouchIt for an undisclosed sum.

Located in Atlanta, Georgia, PouchIt specialises in short-run stand-up pouches, lay-flat pouches, and roll stock films.
