Danu’s Nut Milk Packaging Leads With A No Frills Design System

For nut milk, it makes sense that the hero of the packaging becomes the nut itself. Danu’s packaging, designed by Studio Unbound, strips away the unnecessary, much like the brand itself, and utilizers gorgeous macro photography by Twenty Nine Studio.

The design centers around a bold, oversized illustration of the key ingredient, nuts, making it immediately clear what’s inside. The typography is clean and unfussy, reinforcing the “nothing extra” philosophy that defines the product. With no distracting elements or excessive graphics, the packaging becomes direct and honest, standing out in a category filled with overcomplicated visuals.

Martyn Garrod, founder of Studio Unbound, dives into the process of the design below.
