Smart Life Co. Rejoins The Oral Care Aisle With A Welcomed Sense of Joy

Smart Life Co.’s packaging, redesigned by Design Womb, offers a welcomed, playful direction to the oral care aisle. The updated design swaps dark, earth-tone packaging for bold, bright colors and strong geometric typography, creating a more approachable look.

Fun iconography and a whimsical giraffe mascot for the kids’ line infuse much-needed personality while emphasizing the brand’s commitment to sustainability and family-friendly appeal. While the brand does its best to be eco-friendly, there are intensive step-by-step instructions on the brand’s website to ensure eco-friendly disposal. The toothbrushes, for example, require the removal of the bristles, composting of the handle, and recycling or industrial composting of the bristles. The transparency is appreciated.

For the brand’s pouch, the window needs to be industrially composted, whereas the bag can be home composted. The boxes are FSC, and made from a mix of Kraft board and Kraft paper. The paper tubes are made of white Kraft paper tube and paper, and the individual wrappers are fully compostable and biodegradable, both home and industrial level.
