Simply Pop Is Coca-Cola’s Entrant In the Gut Soda Game


There’s no such thing as a healthy soda, but by golly, beverage brands sure are trying to make it seem that way.

Announced yesterday, Coca-Cola just released its first-ever prebiotic soda, Simply Pop. The beverage company’s Simply brand extension looks to capitalize on the growing better-for-you soft drink category, which is expected to be valued at $3.5 billion by 2035.
