Adobe Releases Photoshop on iPhone for On-The-Go Image Editing

At long last, Adobe has released Photoshop for the iPhone. Unlike previous apps labeled as “Photoshop,” this latest version is a legitimate iteration of the popular photo editing software designed and optimized for mobile.

This version of Photoshop isn’t a companion app for the full-fledged desktop software, nor does it require a subscription to Creative Cloud. On Photoshop for iPhone, users can adjust colors, blend, retouch, combine images (including adding images from Adobe Stock), access over 20,000 fonts, and use other tools from the desktop version users will be familiar with, like Magic Wand, Lighten, Darken, Remove Tool, Clone Stamp, and AI-powered Content-Aware Fill.

From my own brief interaction with the app, it appears the user interface has been thoughtfully designed for mobile. It was easy enough to use my fingers to make some basic edits or move through the different tools and layers using expected smartphone actions like scrolling and tapping.
