MM Packaging’s French sites earn EcoVadis platinum recognition

MM Packaging’s pharmaceutical packaging production sites in France have been awarded the EcoVadis platinum medal.

This achievement ranks MM Packaging in the top 1% of companies assessed globally for sustainability performance.

The recognition, which the company has maintained since 2020, is part of its commitment to integrating environmental and social responsibility into its operations.

EcoVadis, a sustainability benchmarking organisation, evaluates companies across key aspects of policies, actions and results.

MM Packaging’s five pharmaceutical packaging sites in France have earned their fifth consecutive platinum medal.

The French sites of MM Packaging have made significant strides in sustainability, including securing contracts for 100% renewable electricity.

They have also enhanced workplace safety protocols and optimised material recycling channels.

These efforts contribute to its long-term sustainability goals and align with international standards and certifications such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

In 2016, MM Packaging joined the UN Global Compact. It adheres to the compact’s principles and has implemented a code of conduct across its operations.

The company’s alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals also demonstrates its commitment to responsible business practices.

MM Packaging France increased its use of certified carton board throughout 2024 and has made consistent improvements in workplace safety scores since 2021.
