Antalis adds 100% recycled Eska Brown paperboard range to portfolio

Antalis has revealed the expansion of its paperboard range with the introduction of Eska Brown.

Eska Brown, a new addition to Antalis’ current range of ‘greyboards’, is claimed to have been crafted from 100% recycled materials and is polyvinyl chloride-free.

The solution is designed to offer an eco-friendly appearance for point-of-sale (POS) and display applications.

Eska Brown is available in a 3mm thickness and measures 2,440mm by 1,220mm.

It is specifically designed for a range of indoor applications, including POS signage, hangers, and high-end packaging.

The paperboard range, now available for purchase on Antalis’ website, supports UV inkjet, screen, and latex printing. It can be die-cut and customised to various shapes, offering a versatile solution for creative projects.

Eska Brown comes with several certifications, including the EcoVadis Gold Medal. It is also food-safe and compliant with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Antalis product manager Paul Neale said: “Antalis continues to extend its sustainable product portfolio with the launch of Eska Brown, a coloured kraft display board in wide-format sheet sizes to support customers to achieve that ‘sustainable look’ for their display applications.

“The unique solid kraft finish throughout, made from 100% recycled fibres, means there are no white edges left on display. Eska’s eco-friendly production processes and zero waste initiatives add to the sustainable merits of this new display board.”

The new product is one of several launched by Antalis in recent months. Antalis is a member of the Kokusai Pulp & Paper Group, which is engaged in papers, packaging, and visual communication distribution based in Japan.
