Mezcla Crafts a Beyond Delightful Packaging Experience for Traditional Sweets

Beyond, designed by Mezcla, reinvents traditional sweets with a modern twist. Incorporating Peruvian Andean grains, the brand promises both taste and nutrition. Mezcla’s design features a unique “B” symbol with curved edges, commonly found in pastry, which doubles as a functional tab on the packaging. This design element stretches to reveal the Beyond logo when the box is opened, symbolizing the brand’s name and mission. The vibrant red and pink color palette ensures that Beyond stands out on the shelf while maintaining a playful yet sophisticated look.

“What can I give my kids that both nourishes and delights them?”

With this question, Beyond begins, seeking to transform traditional sweets into their best version. Where good taste is non-negotiable and neither is the contribution of nutrients, that’s why their recipes include Peruvian Andean grains.

Curved edges are shapes commonly used in pastry, so we decided to use them to give a unique gesture to our initial letter: “B”. A simple form, now applied even to the products. Additionally, the symbol becomes the protagonist of the identity and packaging, also serving as the tab that allows the boxes to be opened.

When opened, the boxes reveal and stretch the symbol, creating the sensation of going ‘beyond,’ as its name means. Beyond is born in Peru, with the aim of nourishing and conquering palates in Canada and the USA.”
