Austin’s Beloved El Patio Restaurant Debuts First CPG Line with Iconic Tortilla Chips & Salsa

El Patio, a beloved family-owned Tex-Mex restaurant since 1954 and an Austin staple, has launched its first CPG line. The new retail venture, El Patio Foods, introduces their famous tortilla chips and salsa to store shelves.

The packaging design, created by Drew Lakin, embodies El Patio’s rich history and family roots. Featuring a nostalgic “Our Story” section and their signature sombrero logo, the packaging connects customers to El Patio’s heritage. This expansion brings a beloved local taste to a broader audience, continuing their legacy of bringing people together over great food.
