Zing Zang unveils new packaging design across product range

Zing Zang, a non-alcoholic cocktail mix brand in the US, has introduced a bold new packaging design for its full product range.

For the first time in its history, the company revamped the iconic Zing Zang logo while its entire portfolio received an energetic and fresh look that reflects the quality of Zing Zang cocktails.

The updated Zing Zang labels span the entire product lineup, including various Margarita Mixes, Sweet & Sour Mix, and Piña Colada Mix, alongside the newer ready-to-drink Bloody Mary and Margarita cocktails.

The new packaging now features appealing cocktail imagery and highlights the premium ingredients, aiming to enhance the brand’s overall appeal.

Zing Zang marketing vice-president EG Fishburne said: “As our product line expanded beyond our original Bloody Mary Mix, it became clear that a brand makeover was needed to highlight our premium ingredients and the bold flavours of our diverse offerings to a broader, cocktail-loving audience.

“The challenge was to create a cohesive design across our portfolio while maintaining the beloved look of our Bloody Mary Mix. The result is a modernised logo and an exciting new label design that enhances taste appeal and perfectly reflects the quality of our products.”

The redesign, spearheaded by design agency SmashBrand, developed six design concepts after identifying the most compelling attributes of the brand.

Following extensive testing, one design stood out, showing significant improvements in consumer liking and purchase intent.

The rollout of the new Zing Zang product packaging has begun nationwide with cocktail mixes and will extend across the entire portfolio by the end of the year.

Despite the updated appearance, the company assures that the taste and quality of ingredients will remain the same.

SmashBrand partner and brand development head Christy Lebor said: “This new vibrant brand identity reflects that perfectly and was the inspiration behind including cocktail imagery on the labels.

“People eat and drink with their eyes, and we wanted to showcase Zing Zang’s amazing cocktails and passion through our design.”
