This Barrel-Aged Rum Looks as Audacious as It Tastes

Collective Arts’ Maple Syrup Barrel-Aged Rum gets a bold visual packaging design from Trüf, who wraps the bottle in high-contrast shapes inspired by the warmth of syrup, spice, and wood.

The label ditches the ornate for the graphic, featuring punchy orange and black elements that reflect falling leaves, ripe fruit, and a low sun. The clean, condensed sans-serif keeps the focus on the design, letting the illustrations fully take center stage.

Adam Goldberg, co-founder and creative director at Trüf, gives us a behind-the-scenes look at its creation.
