From Magazine to Tea Line, Fire Island Tea is a Tribute to its Mid-Century Roots and LGBTQ+ Spirit

A group of gay men with great taste coming together on Fire Island to create a line of beautifully packaged tea just makes sense. Co-founders, partners, and Fire Island residents Marc R. Christensen, Nick Ammaturo, and Chris Fucile launched Fire Island Tea as a printed publication, with two issues released since its inception in 2023. They’ve since expanded Fire Island Tea to include a line of tea—naturally.

With designer Stephen Moss at the helm of both the publication and packaging design, the brand has a sophisticated and timeless look and feel that is unmistakably Fire Island.
