Labthink’s Water Vapor Permeability Tester and Oxygen Transfer Rate Testers were recently referenced in an article in the Journal of Materials Research and Technology explaining a study to improve superhydrophobic gradient coatings in different environments.
In a recent study in Polymers in the Biobased and Biodegradable Polymers Section, Labthink Oxygen Transfer Rate Test Instruments and a W3/031 Water Vapor Permeability Instruments were used to test edible coatings to preserve fruit. In LWT – Food Science and Technology, March 2025, Labthink’s thickness tester (CHY-C2, Labthink, Jinan, China), water vapor transmission rate tester (W3-031, Labthink, Jinan, China) and gas permeability tester (VAC-V2, Labthink) were used in a study to develop packaging film that would prolong the freshness of produce. In Foods 2025 Labthink’s XLW(EC) intelligent electronic tensile tester and i-OXTRA 7700 gas penetration tester were used to test Melatonin/P34HB Films for Active Packaging.
