After removing plastic straws seven years ago, global coffee chain Starbucks is reintroducing them to its Korean locations.
The coffee brand’s about-face on plastic straws, according to the report, comes after customer feedback regarding the paper versions of straws, as reported by the Korean news outlet Chosun Daily.
According to Chosun Daily, Starbucks operates approximately 2,000 locations in South Korea and will roll out the new straws in about 200 stores, mainly near large hospitals and residential areas frequented by children and seniors.
