Sunshine Enclosures Launches Domestic Mylar Pouch Manufacturing Capabilities

Sunshine Enclosures, a leading provider of premium packaging solutions, has announced the official launch of its domestic Mylar pouch manufacturing capabilities. This new offering marks a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to innovation, speed, and exceptional service for its customers across North America.

By bringing Mylar bag production in-house and onshore, the company will reduce lead times, improve quality control, and increase responsiveness to evolving customer needs—all while strengthening its dedication to American manufacturing.

“We’re committed to building the most reliable and highest quality packaging company in the country,” said Justin Walker, president of Sunshine Enclosures’ Full Scale division, who oversees operations at the Colorado-based facility. “Launching domestic Mylar bag production is a direct result of listening to our customers. They want shorter lead times, greater flexibility, and better support—and we’re delivering that by investing in U.S.-based manufacturing.”

The new Mylar pouch line will support a wide range of industries, including food, nutraceuticals, alternative health, pet products, and more. With advanced printing capabilities, customizable formats, and a variety of barrier materials, Sunshine Enclosures’ pouches are engineered for performance and shelf appeal.

“We’re constantly improving our company to be best in class,” added Walker. “Whether it’s equipment, talent, or technology, we’re always looking for ways to raise the bar. This new offering is just one of many steps we’re taking to ensure Sunshine Enclosures remains the preferred partner for brands that care about quality and speed.”

The move aligns with a broader trend toward reshoring and supply chain resilience in the packaging industry, and it reinforces Sunshine Enclosures’ position as a forward-thinking leader dedicated to excellence.

Aside from Mylar bags, Sunshine Enclosures already produces custom carding, stickers, labels, and does automated application and customization to various packaging in the Colorado facility. The company also provides industry leading design services.
