I went to The University of Colorado at Boulder, so I’m no stranger to cannabis. But, since college, the lines between marijuana and alcohol have blurred. Not to completely date myself, but during my time in college, RTD vodka seltzers were becoming extremely popular by way of White Claws, but finding a seltzer with cannabis wasn’t an option. 

One of the first THC beverages was Cann, which launched its line of “social tonics” in 2019. The company was founded in Los Angeles by Jake Bullock and Luke Anderson, and they created the drink as an alcohol alternative, offering a microdosed blend of THC and CBD.
