Shadow Spring Drops a Mystical, Meditative Take on Water

Shadow Spring’s packaging, crafted by Colby Johnson, feels like a moody invitation into a hidden world. The dark bottle, paired with a warm, copper-toned label, creates a quiet, almost meditative vibe.

The bold serif typography commands attention without shouting, while the hand-drawn volcanic landscape hints at deep, natural forces and quiet contemplation. “Descend into the quiet” feels right at home on this label, as every detail pushes you to slow down and soak in the mystique, all while hydrating yourself in the process.

Colby Johnson, founder of Shadow Spring, shares more about the design process below.
