The new handload cartoner solution features a configurable bucket conveyor length, allowing customers to tailor the machine’s footprint and speed to their specific needs.

“Alterion is helping companies adapt to changing product types and packaging needs, providing the confidence that their production will remain agile and efficient,” said Rich Clifton, Product Manager, R.A Jones. “It’s a future-ready, operator-friendly, and cost-effective solution that allows mid-size companies to stay competitive in fast-moving markets, without compromising on performance or packaging quality.”

  • Versatility: Accommodates a wide range of carton shapes and sizes and can achieve speeds up to 170 cartons per minute.
  • Compact build: With a base length of just 7.7 meters and a width of 2.2 meters, the CL-170 is surprisingly compact without compromising on the robust design that R.A Jones cartoners are known for.
  • Scalability: Allows manufacturers to tailor the machine’s footprint and speed to their needs, with options for laser coders, barcode scanners, overhead product tamps, and a configurable hand loading area to optimize production floor space.
  • Faster changeovers & easier loading: Technical features that enable quick transitions between product types and simplified manual loading for machine operators.
