With the new Nilpeter FA-22 press, the company is set to further elevate its offerings.

The press, known for its automation, ease of use, and superior print quality, enables Etiplast to better cater to its current clientele while branching out into new markets and applications.

The FA-22 is specifically tailored for flexible packaging, with one of its initial tasks being the production of coffee bags, a significant market in the region.

To facilitate this, the press is equipped with solvent units for inline lamination. Additionally, Etiplast aims to penetrate the growing shrink sleeves market by utilising white ink in solvent. While the press can handle label production, the company’s primary focus will be on flexible packaging.

Etiplast currently operates two high-occupancy Nilpeter FA-14 presses, mainly producing tape for the agroindustrial sector. The introduction of the FA-22 is expected to redistribute some of this workload, thus increasing the FA-14s’ capacity for label production.

Etiplast operations manager Adolfo Madrigal said: “For us, it’s about staying ahead. We’re always looking to offer our customers more – more flexibility, better efficiency, and greater consistency. This new press allows us to do exactly that.”

The FA-22, which is scheduled to commence operations later this year, allows Etiplast to meet increasing demand and explore new market opportunities.

Nilpeter said it will also showcase its flagship FA-Line at Labelexpo Europe 2025, due to be held from September 16 to 19, in Barcelona, Spain.
