Indian company Printpanache Packaging Solutions (PPS) has upgraded its production capabilities with the installation of a Rhyguan SMART-450 slitter-rewinder system, supplied by Flexo Image Graphics.
This new addition is equipped with a Luster camera for complete fault detection.

The Rhyguan SMART-450 machine integrates advanced servo technology for optimal web control.
The system’s ability to adjust web tension for both unwind and rewind sections independently ensures precision in the slitting and rewinding process.
The system has 450mm of web width with a reinspection capability of up to 300m per minute.
Additionally, the Rhyguan SMART-450 system is equipped with high-precision slitting knives that can handle a wide variety of materials, making it suitable for diverse applications.
Its automated fault detection feature halts faulty products such as labels on the inspection table, allowing for immediate corrective action and improved productivity.
