Ezviz pledges to fund the removal of 20,000kg of plastic waste in 2025, equivalent to one million plastic bottles.

This initiative is set to benefit collectors in 29 communities across Southeast Asia, Latin America and Africa, contributing to the global effort to combat plastic pollution.

Through Plastic Bank’s circular economy model, these local collectors can transform discarded plastic into valuable resources, enhancing their livelihoods and protecting the environment.

Ezviz Global Brand director Sophie Zhang stated: “We believe in plastic reduction that’s people-centred, tech-enabled and globally scaled.”

The company is also making strides in sustainable product design. In 2024, Ezviz prevented 22.3 tonnes (t) of plastic waste by incorporating recycled materials into its robot vacuum range.

The EB3 battery cameras demonstrate the company’s commitment to eco-friendly solutions, utilising solar power to save energy, and are designed with 80% recyclable components, packaged in 100% recyclable materials.

Ezviz has shifted to paper-based and recycled materials, eliminating the use of more than one million bubble wrap bags monthly.

In 2024, streamlined packaging and the switch from printed labels to laser etching resulted in a reduction of 1.573t of paper.

Plastic Bank CEO and founder David Katz stated: “With Ezviz, we’re proving that every action, no matter how small, can ripple outward to protect the environment and uplift communities.

“Our collective action is enabling a future where the people and the planet prosper together.”
