Energy investment and development company OQ has partnered Milliken & Company to launch a new clarified random copolymer for injection moulding applications.
The new product, Luban RP2251T, incorporates Milliken’s Millad NX 8000 ECO additive solution, resulting in a material with improved aesthetic qualities that can be processed at lower temperatures.

It is suitable for producing thin-walled packaging that requires high clarity and strict organoleptic standards.
The introduction of OQ’s Luban RP2251T, enhanced with Millad clarifying agent, also enables converters to achieve energy and cost savings of up to 10%.
This is made possible by processing the material at lower temperatures and with shorter cycle times compared to similar products that utilise alternative clarifying agents.
