Grogan has 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare and foodservice packaging across North America, Asia and Europe.

Most recently, he worked as president of RLG Healthcare, a division of Resource Label Group. He has also held senior positions at MedLit Solutions, Liquibox, DS Smith Plastics, Pactiv Evergreen and ThermoSafe.

Grogan stated: “I am thrilled to join Eutecma at such a pivotal moment for the healthcare industry – so many lifesaving and life-sustaining therapies are reaching the market and engineered insulated packaging solutions play a critical part in their success.

“I look forward to leveraging my experience to ensure that Eutecma’s solutions help this industry continue to thrive and meet the needs of our pharmaceutical and biotech partners while contributing to a more sustainable future.”

Founded in 2008, Eutecma’s sustainable passive cooling systems are designed to enhance transportation and logistics efficiency for clients in the pharmaceutical, medical and laboratory diagnostics sectors.

The company highlights its “retecma” technology as “a unique, patented solution to enabling packaging materials to thrive in the circular economy,” a process which keeps materials in use for longer while reducing CO₂ emissions and offering clients real-time reduction data.

In June 2025, Great Point Partners (GPP) acquired a majority stake in Eutecma.

GPP, a private investment company based in Greenwich in the US state of Connecticut, specialises in the healthcare sector.

It has a strong track record in the pharmaceutical packaging industry, highlighted by its previous investment in Softbox Systems, a UK-based global provider of passive temperature-controlled packaging solutions.

GPP principal Eddie Hjerpe stated: “We are excited to bring Grogan on board as Eutecma’s CEO.

“His expertise will be instrumental in strengthening the company’s global market leadership and accelerating growth in this next phase.”
